Overseas students who wish to study at SSEES
We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming School, with a deep and long lasting commitment to the UCL vision of 'making a difference' both to the students we work with and to the wider world.
We look forward to welcoming you to SSEES and are confident that your time with us will be rewarding. Having read the information below and studied the UCL international pages, should you wish to contact the School please do so via the Affiliate student administrator, Gemma Martin.
The information below is for students who are already studying at a university or institution overseas who wish to come and study at SSEES for up to one year as part of their undergraduate or graduate research degree from their own 'home' university.
These students remain registered as students at their home university while following a programme of study/research at SSEES as 'affiliate' students. Affiliate students do not receive a degree qualification from UCL. Instead they receive an official transcript recording their courses and grades, before returning to their home university to complete their degree programmes.
- Undergraduate Affiliates / Junior Year Abroad
For students who wish to come and study independently at SSEES (i.e. not under an exchange agreement) for up to one year, or those students who wish to study at SSEES for their Junior Year Abroad.
