UCL SSEES Library

Latvia

The Library has some 1,500 volumes on Latvia, mostly housed on the Lower Ground Floor of the Library. There are some Latvian books, particularly literature, from the collection of Professor W.K. Matthews, who taught in Riga for fifteen years between the wars, and who published several translations of Latvian poetry, including the anthology The tricolour sun, Cambridge, 1936. Books in this section have the classmark La.

Library staff also maintain a page of Internet resources on Latvia.
