Students and staff of UCL have free access to a huge number of databases and full-text resources. Some can only be accessed from computers on campus, but an increasing number can also be accessed off-site as well.

There is also a list of databases which may be of particular interest to SSEES students and staff.

UCL Library Services provides access to a wide variety of ebook packages. A complete ebook list by subject area is available via Metalib. Some ebooks have individual entries on the Library catalogue and can be searched for by author or title. In this category are 40 ebooks published by Taylor and Francis which were selected by SSEES Library staff as being potentially useful to SSEES students.

The SSEES Directory of Internet Resources on Central and Eastern Europe and Russia contains links to hundreds of web sites relating to the areas studied at SSEES. These links are maintained by Library staff in consultation with academic staff of the School. The links are organised by geographical area and subdivided by category of information.
