Polish Language | Poland in brief

SSEES is the best place (outside Poland) to study Polish language, literature, history and politics, offering a range of courses in all aspects of the country. It also maintains close links with other higher education institutes, both in Great Britain and Poland.

At SSEES you can follow courses in Polish language as part of various undergraduate degrees:

• as the focus of a language and culture degree: B.A. Polish and East European Studies



• in combination with Russian: B.A. Russian and/with Polish



• as a component of a UCL B.A. Language and Culture degree.

Postgraduate students may take an intensive reading course in Polish (Polish as a New Language), either as a component of M.A. degrees or for the purposes of doctoral or other research.
