INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES - Summer 2012

As part of our evolving internship programme we are now working with a number of organisations to identify internship opportunities in London for SSEES IMESS students to apply for.

We are therefore pleased to announce that we have secured invitations for applications from 3 distinguished organisations and would like to encourage you to apply to these.

THE RISK ADVISORY GROUP plc
The Risk Advisory Group plc invites applications for internships from SSEES students on the IMESS course in its London office in June/July 2012. We will consider applications from candidates with good academic credentials and a demonstrable interest in the world of business and commerce and who have a very high level of skill in English and another language. This will be of interest to individuals who are considering a career in the field of business research and analysis and risk consulting. Please apply with CV to Richard Prior, richard.prior@riskadvisory.net as early as possible but at the latest by April 30th 2012. Please quote reference: SSEES-IMESS.

THE RUSSO-BRITISH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Russo-British Chamber of Commerce (RBCC) is prepared to consider taking on one of the SSEES students on the IMESS course as an intern in their London Office during the months of June and July. RBCC is the link between British and Russian business. It is essential, therefore, that any intern speaks English and Russian and has an interest in bilateral trade between the two countries. It is also essential that an intern be flexible enough, when needed, to attend the occasional breakfast seminar at 0800, or stay late to attend evening functions, notably the Reception for the RBCC Business Forum which takes place in June. Interested applicants should send a CV and covering letter to IMESS Programme Director (a.sikk@ucl.ac.uk), by April 30th 2012.

In addition...
IMESS students are also encouraged to place their CVs on the RBCC website to advertise that they are seeking an internship. This will enable the member companies of the RBCC to identify potential candidates.

HEALTHPROM
HealthProm welcomes applications from IMESS students at SSEES for an internship at its London office during the months of June and July, 2012. Applicants must be committed, proactive, and possess a good command of English. Applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in working in the non-profit sector and/or international development. Knowledge of Russian or a Central Asian language would be an advantage. Please send a CV and covering letter to Candice Sly, (Candice.sly@healthprom.org) as early as possible but at the latest by April 30th 2012. Please quote reference: SSEES-IMESS.
