SSEES New Building

In the summer of 2005 the School and the Library moved from their premises in Senate House and Russell Square to new, purpose-built premises in Taviton Street. The project to create new premises for SSEES was jointly funded by UCL, the University of London and a grant from the Higher Education Funding Council for England.

The School held a series of events to mark the move, culminating in the formal opening of its new premises in October 2005, a date which coincided with the ninetieth anniversary of the School's foundation.
